One of the very first creations I made with the Ooh La La collection from Ultimate Crafts was a card for my Dad for Father's Day.... and I can't believe I forgot to share it with you on the blog.
It was a quick and simple but my Dad loved it. It is a great guy card and all you need to do is changed the sentiment.
To start make a 6x6" card base using some of the Ultimate Crafts Cardstock in Ivory and then I selected the framed patterned paper from my paper pad.
Next take some chocolate coloured Ultimate Crafts Cardstock and make three mats that place nicely on the cream of the patterned paper leaving a good edge. Then find three matching papers that you like and cut them down to fit on the chocolate cardstock. Mat the patterned papers and attach them to the card front.
Finally I stamped a sentiment on the ivory cardstock, mounted it on the chocolate cardstock and then using 3D foam mounting tape attached it to the card. I also decided to stamp an image of a car for the front. Finally I added some chipboard scrabble letters for DAD over the top of where I placed the tie around the twine.
